Sizing tips
Three things that save you money
Tip 01
Heavy stuff, smaller box
Concrete, dirt, brick and shingles hit weight limits long before the container looks full. Mention heavy material so we can size for weight, not just volume.
Tip 02
When torn, size up
Debris takes more room than it looks like in the house. One size bigger usually costs less than ordering a second dumpster.
Tip 03
Clear the landing zone
Move cars and keep the spot open on delivery day. The truck needs a straight approach and room overhead, free of low branches and wires.
Loading & placement
Before you start loading
Not seeing your question? Call (800) 555-0199 and we will walk you through it.
What can I not put in a roll-off dumpster?
Hazardous materials are not allowed. That includes liquid paint, solvents, motor oil, fuel, batteries, propane tanks, tires and appliances that still contain refrigerant. Local rules can add other items, so ask before you load anything you are unsure about.
How full can I load the container?
Load up to the top edge of the walls, but not above it. Overfilled containers cannot be hauled safely, and material may need to be removed before pickup.
Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
Containers are set down carefully, and boards can be placed under the rails to spread the weight. Mention soft ground, fresh asphalt or pavers when you book so the drop can be planned around them.
